We have an exciting new feature to announce! With our latest update, you can now add custom roles to your organization's account. Here are some highlights of this new feature:

  • Custom Roles: Add a custom role that is scoped down per account level, meaning multiple clients can use the same role name. Each account can create a role and modify permissions freely.
  • Default Roles: The permission level of the 5 default roles (Admin, PO, DPO, Employee, Subcontractor are not modifiable by the client.
  • Customized Invite Email: When inviting a user with a custom role to the platform, the email is customized with the custom role information.
  • People Overview: The new role can be viewed on the people overview page for easy tracking and management.
  • Responsive Design: The role management page is now designed to be responsive on mobile and tablets.
  • Assigned to Dropdown: Custom roles can be included in assignee dropdowns. For example, for a custom "manager" role that should be able to be assigned a task, the role permission should include the "update" flag for the "tasks" feature.
  • Grouped Permissions: To simplify the role management settings, some features in the application have been grouped under a single feature name. For example, the "settings" permission level includes permission levels for "notifications", "company", "account", etc.

🎯 To add a custom role, navigate to Settings > Company > Roles.

We hope this new feature will make it even easier for you to manage your organization's roles and permissions.
